Dorset General Practice Alliance holds inaugural meeting

At the first meeting of the Alliance on 10 August 2022, Forbes Watson was elected clinical chair by the board, including elected representatives from Dorset’s 18 Primary Care Networks (PCNs).

Forbes is a GP from Lyme Bay and will play a key role in amplifying the voice of general practice by representing the Alliance at key forums where decisions are made about health and care in Dorset.

He said: “I am really excited about this new role and the opportunity to work more closely with colleagues and partners across Dorset to shape health and care services in a way which best suits our local population.”
